Manjusri Namasamghitti

This prayer is an homage to the names of Manjusri, the Buddha of wisdom. Manjusri is a bodhisattva known for his infinite wisdom and understanding of the Prajnaparamita. This is depicted by the text sitting on the lotus he holds in his left hand while the flaming sword in his right hand cuts through the dualistic ego-clinging we all suffer from. Manjusri is one of the first bodhisattvas to receive the teachings on the Prajnaparamita as well as the Tara Tantra.
